Pair with: Asian cuisine, Summer BBQ with fresh garden salads. The clean profile of this wine can pair well with richer dishes.

The Vavasour rooster has become a symbol of quality for NZ wine buyers over the last 15 years. Vavasour has massive 85ha vineyard holdings in the Awatere Valley, where the infertile gravel soils and huge diurnal temperature swings produce some of NZ's finest wines. The winemaking team ferment 90% of this in stainless steel with the remaining 10% in neutral French Oak to impart texture.

A fragrant bouquet redolent of braeburn apple, poached pear, cinnamon and lychee.
Rich and juicy, the palate is bursting with fruit offset by crisp acidity, leading to a zippy, long finish.
