RAVOIRE & Fils is an independent family business specializing in wines from the Rhone Valley and Provence regions of France. A Olivier RAVOIRE characteristic of his style of winemaking is the impeccability of the blend and fruit intensity of the wines. The Vacqueyras is a blend of 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. After getting the vinification Syrah 100% matured in barriques of French oak (50% new wood) and 10% of grenache new large wooden casks. (600 liters) Intense and complex nose with lots of black fruit and 'garrique' and well blended wood! On the palate a powerful impetus with great smoothness and roundness. The fruit intensity charming and most pleases. The final is long and shows again the complexity.
