2023 Howard Park Leston Shiraz - Royal Adelaide Wine Show – Major Trophy Winner | Best Red Wine in Show:

At the 2025 Royal Adelaide Wine Show Howard Park won THREE trophies for our 2023,  Howard Park Leston Shiraz including the top prize of Best Red Wine in Show:

- The Max Schubert AM Trophy for Most Outstanding Red Wine .⁠ ⁠
- Vili’s Trophy for Best Shiraz in Show.
- Doreau Australia Trophy for Best Shiraz 2023 Vintage and Younger. ⁠ ⁠

WA won around 30% of the trophies and Howard Park was the only WA winner in the Major Trophy award.

A 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the very deep purple-black 2012 Leston Cabernet offers pure, pretty aromas of cassis, violets, vanilla and menthol with hints of pencil shavings and bay leaf. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the mouth with black fruit flavors that have a pleasant herbal lift and is framed by firm, grainy tannins and balanced acidity. It finishes with excellent persistence. Drink it now to 2022+.
